I offer both Psychotherapy and/or Life and Relationship Coaching. What is the difference between the two?
Psychotherapy is used to help clients whose lives are taken over by trauma, anxiety and/or depression to name a few. We look at various techniques to regulate the nervous system. We delve into areas you are discontent with and explore patterns and behaviors and their purpose.
As your therapist I will enable you to sit with your emotions for personal growth.
Coaching is quite similar, however, we do not look for root causes of certain behaviors, we focus on mindset, focus, habits and self-talk. We explore the ways in which you may be getting in your own way. A plan of action is made to get you where you want to go and as your coach I will help you reach those goals.
Which one is more suitable for you?
Hard to say without talking to you first, however, if you suffer with anxiety, depression, trauma then Psychotherapy is more suited. If you feel at a loose end and not sure what direction to take then coaching is more suited to you.
